Taking the Bar Exam

Tom: I had a month or two of preparation for the test, and that’s when I applied — first time I applied, everything I had to it. I got ready for the test. They do it in two days now, but then it was a one-day affair, same test. But I went at 8:00 a.m. and got out at 11:00 that night.

So when I got through, my old buddy was waiting for me, we went up to the Prads Camps, it’s up there at Lake Burton. And I got a call while I was gone — two or three days, we stayed up there for quite a while — and my dad called me and said “Hey Tom, you had a big accident,” and I said “what, what was it?” and he said “You passed the Bar.” [laughter]
